Radiographic technology has improved dramatically in recent years. We have a fully portable digital x-ray machine that produces high quality digital images in a matter of seconds, and can be viewed on a laptop at the time of the visit.
The high quality produced with radiographic technological advances has allowed us to expand the areas in which we are able to take images within the field environment. We are now able to perform radiography of the hock, stifle and spine, as well as dental and head x-rays.
We can view these radiographs with you and explain any findings. Sometimes it is necessary to examine the radiographs more fully and in depth back at the practice before drawing conclusions and making treatment recommendations.
